This is a site based on Discourse…the company where I currently ply my day-job skills.
Discourse is forum software, specializing in long form discussion. That said…it has many other features, including live chat. So whether you want to converse asynchronously, or in real-time…it’s got you covered.
I’m mainly using it here as an alternative to Facebook, a place where I can post photos so friends and family can see what I’ve been up to. I find it easier to use than a blog, and it comes with so many cool bells and whistles. And I’ll be able to add more as we release new features. 
If you just want to check out the pix, or read whatever mad ravings I scratch out, please do.
If you find you want to comment or create your own posts, you’ll need to set up an account. I have a number of private groups setup so that I can wall off info as necessary, so if you set up an account and don’t see many categories at first, don’t be alarmed. It just means I haven’t dropped you into any of the buckets yet.
